
Foundation Year (Part-Time Program) student Tier Ataing is a South Sudanese Australian Actor best known for his role as John Hale, in the Australian Shakespeare Company’s adaptation of The Crucible. He also starred as Mr. Franklin in Antipodes Theatre Company’s production of Passing Strange, the musical based on the life of singer-songwriter Stew. In addition to his stage work, Tier has appeared in several television series, most recently Mr. Black, a comedy about a grumpy father who moves in with his daughter and her boyfriend, and The Family Law, a dramedy about a Chinese Australian family dealing with divorce and cultural clashes, and most recently High Country, in the role of Father Ntini. Tier is passionate about telling diverse stories and representing his community on screen and on stage.
