Craig McMahon is a distinguished Australian talent agent and artistic director, with a career spanning over 30 years in film, television, and the performing arts. Known for his visionary leadership and commitment to talent development, Craig has discovered and nurtured some of the country’s most promising performers. His decade-long tenure at Network Ten as a presenter, producer, and writer saw him contribute to a range of successful programs, earning him recognition as the Network Ten Achiever of the Year for his outstanding contributions to Australian television broadcasting.
As the Founding Artistic Director of Film & Television Studio International (FTSI), Craig has established one of Australia’s leading actor training institutions. FTSI has become a benchmark for performance education under his leadership, launching the careers of numerous actors who now work nationally and internationally. In his role as CEO of McMahon Management (MCM), Craig has further influenced the global visibility of Australian talent, offering a deeply personal and strategic approach to representation, informed by his background in performance and production.
Beyond training and management, Craig’s impact is felt throughout the entertainment industry. He has worked across multiple facets of film and television production, advocating for ethical representation, high standards in actor training, and sustainable growth in the arts. In addition to the success of our series regulars, Craig has trained, mentored and launched many other students into the industry in guest roles, bit parts and lead roles in major Film and Television projects.
