
Drama School Audition Preparation
Planning to audition for a full-time course at Drama School or University? This focused six-week training course is designed to guide actors through the modern drama school audition process. Combining practical skill-building with personalised guidance, the program helps you develop strong technique, clarity of choice, and the confidence to walk into auditions fully prepared and grounded in your work.
What You’ll Cover
Across the course, participants will:
- Navigate the landscape of drama schools and training pathways to identify the right fit
- Select, prepare, and rehearse both classical and contemporary monologues
- Learn industry-standard approaches to filming and submitting self-tapes
- Prepare for additional audition components, including interviews, devised work, workshops, and redirection
- Strengthen performance skills through integrated voice, movement, and text work
- Complete a simulated audition experience to consolidate learning
Eligibility: Anyone age 17+ considering applying to full-time courses at drama school or university.
Tuition: $620 (GST inclusive)

With four terms available annually, the program is designed to support both Australian and international audition pathways. Participants may join a single block or commit to all four sessions to build sustained momentum, consistency, and readiness.

Screen-Focused Immersion into Genres from Soaps to Shakespeare, while Developing Screen Performance, On-Set Skills, and Script Analysis.
Danielle began her acting career with a notable recurring role in the 80s series Richmond Hill while still in high school. This early experience ignited her passion for performance and set her on a dedicated path in the arts. Following this, she pursued her training further by auditioning for and successfully graduating from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in 1993. This achievement marked a significant milestone in her artistic journey, providing her with the skills and opportunities to thrive in the competitive world of acting.

Danielle is celebrated for her extensive work in theatre and film across Australia. She has collaborated with leading production and theatre companies, engaging in diverse roles throughout a broad array of productions. Her experience includes touring both nationally and internationally, showcasing her versatility and dedication to the performing arts.Her onstage and onscreen career showcases a commitment to her craft, marked by a desire for continuous growth. To refine her skills, she studied at the prestigious Moscow Arts Theatre School and The Michael Chekhov School in Hudson, New York. Additionally, Danielle took part in The Michael Chekhov International Workshops and Festivals in Connecticut, further broadening her expertise and understanding of this unique acting method.
Danielle is also the author of two works of non fiction, Racing Against Time published by Currency Press in 2006 and the soon to be released Discovering the Michael Chekhov Technique: In the studio with Ted Pugh and Fern Sloan. This book will be released by Bloomsbury publishing.
