16 actors will have the opportunity to experience the life-force of Rena Owen.  The world-renowned star of the stage and screen will facilitate an Intensive 3-Day Masterclass, workshopping scenes from her own award-winning published works in front of a live audience of actors and industry professionals. You will be invigorated, uncomfortable and most of all, empowered as an artist.

Rena Owen is renowned for her unforgettable portrayal of Beth Heke in the seminal New Zealand film “Once Were Warriors,” marking the start of a prolific career that spans across a diverse array of international film and television productions, including notable roles in George Lucas’s “Star Wars: Attack of the Clones,” Spielberg’s “A.I. Artificial Intelligence,” “The Last Witch Hunter,” US /Freeform “Sirens,” “The Dead Lands,” “Vegas,” “Orville,” alongside Seth MacFarlane and Australian series “The Gloaming.” Rena is currently overseas, working on Disney’s Live-Action “Moana”.

Rena is only one of six in the world (and the only female) to date to have worked with both filmmaking legends George Lucas and Steven Spielberg during her illustrious career that spans 35 years working in theatre, television and film, as an actor, writer, producer, director & dramaturge.
