Film & Television Studio International (FTSI) has spent more than 25 years at the heart of actor development in Australia.
What began as a specialist screen acting studio, has now grown into a broader artist development organisation, shaped by Craig and Dominique’s enduring commitment to the craft of acting and to the people who choose to pursue it as a profession. Over more than two decades, they have trained, mentored, represented and championed hundreds of performers, while building strong and lasting relationships throughout the Australian film and television industry.
Craig and Dominique have always believed that meaningful actor training should extend beyond the classroom. It should be connected to the realities of the professional industry, informed by the people who work within it and, wherever possible, create genuine pathways for talented performers to progress.
That philosophy has been central to FTSI since its foundation. Through their work as facilitators, mentors and talent managers, Craig and Dominique have played an important role in helping emerging actors find their voice, develop their craft and understand what it means to build a professional career. Through their work with McMahon Management, they have also represented and guided performers throughout their careers, providing advocacy and industry support at some of the most important stages of an actor’s development.
Their contribution extends beyond individual performers. Over the years, Craig and Dominique have brought together actors, directors, writers, producers, show runners, casting professionals and other leading practitioners to create opportunities for artists to learn directly from those working at the highest levels of the industry. In doing so, they have helped foster a culture of connection, generosity and professional exchange between the next generation of performers and the industry they aspire to join.
Today, FTSI continues to be driven by that same philosophy. Our programs combine rigorous screen acting training with practical, on-camera experience, industry mentorship and opportunities to work with established professionals. Our international programs in New York and London further extend this approach, giving Australian performers the opportunity to experience some of the world’s great creative centres and broaden their understanding of the international screen and performing arts landscape.
