The Casting Masterclass

Film & Television Studio International has been facilitating Masterclasses in screen-testing and auditioning for over 25 years, touring across Australia and the UK and connecting actors with top-tier casting directors.

We are thrilled to kick off 2026 in our Albert Park studio with Lou Mitchell, Senior Casting Director for over 30 years at Maura Fay Casting, one of Australia’s most respected casting houses.

This 3-hour, in-studio masterclass gives actors the opportunity to work on-camera, receive direct feedback, and learn what casting directors are really looking for. You’ll explore scene work, audition technique, and performance choices, with practical guidance to help you stand out in a competitive industry.

Through these sessions, actors also gain valuable exposure and connections to decision-makers, opening doors to opportunities in national and international productions.

Duration: 3 Hours | In-Studio, On-Camera

Preparation for Your Session:

• You will receive a selection of SIDES to choose from up to 10 days prior to your session
• SIDES are two-handers and a maximum of 3 pages
• Lines must be 100% off book
• A reader will be provided on the day
• You will receive a copy of your scene to take home
