Casting Director David Rapaport is joining us once again this year in November.  David is a major player in the Hollywood Casting world and has (and continues to) cast iconic hit Television Dramas filmed all around the world. Please refer to our website for full bio and credit list.

In ADDITION to the 5-HOUR INTENSIVE SCREEN-TEST WORKSHOP, David will select one participant as the most encouraging emerging artist, who will BE AWARDED the following:

• $1000.00 Virgin Airlines travel voucher towards a return trip to Los Angeles.
• A meet and greet in person in Los Angeles with David who will offer career advice/mentorship and answer any career related questions you may have.
• $1000.00 voucher to spend on further education at Film & Television Studio International.
• A headshot package with Icon media.

Please note:

• Participants will be required to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) prior to the commencement of the program or will not be allowed entry.
• David’s selection is final.  No further dialogue will be entered into.
• The winner agrees to Film & Television Studio International using their image to announce them as the winner across all social media platforms.
• The meet and greet date will be at the sole discretion of David and will be coordinated by Film & Television Studio International.  
• The Participant understands that this is not an audition but an encouragement award and an opportunity to receive face-to-face advice/mentorship from David in Los Angeles and a chance to explore Los Angeles thereafter.
• Participants understand that there is one person chosen from the 2 classes facilitated.  
• Friday 22nd of November (10:00am – 3:00pm) or Saturday 23rd of November (10:00am – 3:00pm).

Work with David Rapaport, one of Hollywood’s Casting Titans who has cast (and continues to cast) some of Warner Bros. and the CW’s most ground-breaking Television Series including:

“Gossip Girl,” “Riverdale,” “The Flash,” “YOU” and “The Summer I Turned Pretty”. After attending Emerson College, David moved to LA and started to work with legendary Casting Director Mali Finn (Titanic, LA Confidential, 8 Mile). Together, they collaborated on multiple films including The Matrix Reloaded, 8 Mile, Running with Scissors and Elephant.

David started his long-lasting relationship with Warner Bros. and CW on the original “Gossip Girl” (2007) and has since continued collaborating with Warner Bros. and uber producers Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter on series such as “Arrow“, “Supergirl“, “The Flash“, “Katy Keen“, “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow”, “Superman and Lois”, “Batwoman”, “Gotham Knights” and the forthcoming streaming series “Dead Boy Detectives“. Along with his co-Casting Director, Lyndsey Baldasare, CSA, at Amazon, he cast the breakout hit “The Summer I Turned Pretty“. He’s also cast several shows for HBO Max, including “Titans“, “Doom Patrol“, “Equal“, and the “Pretty Little Liars” reboot “Original Sin“. At Netflix, David cast such hits as “YOU“, “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina“, and recent hit “XO, Kitty“.

David has been lauded for his support of underrepresented communities and was proud to cast TV’s first LGBTQ+ superhero and TVs first trans superhero. He’s been featured in articles in Entertainment Weekly, The Advocate, The Boston Globe and Buzzfeed, and he has appeared on Entertainment Tonight and various podcasts. He’s a proud Heller Award Winner, having won Television Casting Director twice, in 2012 and 2019.

David resides in LA with his husband and Boston native, Ron Glines, a six-time Emmy winning Producer for Entertainment Tonight.
